Program Description:
ASL Immersion Weekend is a new option designed for adults who want to strengthen their American Sign Language skills in a fully immersive setting. In addition to our traditional weeklong ASL Immersion program, we are now offering a weekend format to accommodate those who may not be able to commit to a full week.
Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced signer, you’ll expand your vocabulary, refine expressive and receptive skills, master fingerspelling, explore classifiers, and deepen your understanding of Deaf culture and linguistics.
Participants stay onsite at the Village and experience a true signing-only environment—ASL is used everywhere, from classrooms to mealtimes. The weekend includes engaging lessons and group activities such as water games, sign games, skits, and more. Immerse yourself in ASL, connect with others, and experience the joy of communicating in a dynamic and visual language.
Date: Friday, May 15 through Sunday May 17, 2026
Cost: $250 per person — includes onsite lodging, all meals and beverages, daily ASL instruction, and recreational activities.
